10 meter Diving Board — Now Outlawed

Back flips to impress the chicks all summer long! Can openers, preacher seats, gainers, flying squirrels. Had to spend a few mins under the lifeguard stand if you performed a butt-buster though. At the pool from open til close....zero sunscreen. We would see who could perform the highest splash .
The cannon ball from the high board was a killer.
I remember one girls hair turned green from chemicals in the pool.

David Delph and I would jump the fence at midnight and go up on the 10 meter to smoke joints. The Alamo Heights Police came in the parking lot to look at my parked car, but never thought to look up at the 10 meter to see if someone was up there!
