Austin Jazz Society Hall of Fame

Friday night was one for the books at the Austin Jazz Society Hall of Fame Awards! What a joy it was to see my dear friend, the legendary Carmen Bradford, inducted into the Hall of Fame. After over 40 years of friendship and countless shared stages, it’s a thrill to watch her artistry and spirit shine so brightly on such a well-deserved night.

From her first days with the Count Basie Orchestra to Grammy-winning performances, Carmen has touched so many lives with her warmth, grace, and talent. Celebrating with her in Austin, where her journey started, was a beautiful full-circle moment.
