Inspired by the interplay of sound and emotion, this work captures the saxophone’s improvisational essence through sweeping lines and dynamic forms.
Duet Conversations in Jazz A minimalist yet vibrant exploration of harmony, “Duet” captures the intimate exchange between two musical voices. With interlocking shapes and colors that blend and contrast, this piece evokes the dialogue and tension that make jazz duets so compelling.
Bass for Utah Low Frequencies, High Art Created as a tribute to Utah Hamrick, bassist for Double Vision and Hank Hehmsoth Trio, this vibrant, playful work embodies the grounding yet dynamic role of the bass in jazz. Its abstract shapes and colors celebrate the instrument’s rhythmic foundation and melodic versatility.
Trumpet Brass in Full Color This dynamic work celebrates the brilliance and power of the trumpet. Its abstract forms radiate with energy, mirroring the instrument’s ability to soar above a jazz ensemble with unmatched clarity and vibrance.
